It’s been a really rough summer here in the Midwest for Growers. Food Growers dealt with excessive heat, a lack of rain and then too much rain all at once. Pretty much a typical Missouri weather pattern, always changing. This created challenges even a seasoned grower found to be challenging to say the least.
Problems with insects with outdoor Growers was pretty prevalent this summer. Whenever a plant goes into stress it’s easier for insects to attack it. So any stressed plant is a beacon to an infestation. We want you to be aware that there are products, quite a few organic listed that can help you and your plants maintain a better health which in turn creates a better yield.
Indoor Growers dealt with excessive heat if they had lighting with too much heat radiating from its source. High Pressure Sodium and High Intensity LEDs made it hard for some people to keep their temperatures down to avoid issues like plants stress, insect issues, and hermaphrodite plants. Not all LED’S are created equal, so we spent months on choosing lighting to help this problem. Heat is not your friend if it can not be controlled.
When you’re ready to get back to growing, now that the temperatures have fallen, a great time is upon us to grow again, right through the holiday seasons. Our seed starter, cloning gels, organic vegetative soil mix, and Super Soils, and Root Zone fabric pots are great products just to name a few. We have all of the products you need to get the best results. We offer you a wealth of knowledge and help save you money and time and keep you on track. It’s not a lot of fun if people come in a store and say I can’t do it. But our overwhelming customer base has a smile when they walk through the door and when I ask them how’s it going? I love the expression on a successful growers’ face. We are not from overseas, we are your neighbor. And we want to see you successful! That is why we don’t carry many of the products that seem to set a grow back, inferior quality that can cost a person their grow, hard work, time and efforts. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
